theCream Review: Is Nature’s Superfood for Skin for Real?
I fell in love with theCream a couple of years ago. At that time, I was searching out options to alter my skin care regime from chemical-based products to all-natural products. Did you know that, between eye creams, skin creams, body lotions, deodorants, and her daily grooming and make-up routine, the average woman could be subjecting her skin to an alarming 515 different synthetic chemicals every single day?
It became a frustrating exploration because though many products stated, “Natural Ingredients”, upon further inspection the “natural ingredients” were few and far between. Those products did include a limited number of natural ingredients, but they were vastly overshadowed by chemical ingredients that only someone with a Ph.D. in biochemistry could pronounce.
The history of the Pink Cow Brand is fascinating. It is equally fascinating to learn how this product -line has grown and become an award winning group of skin care products that women and men LOVE!
The line was developed by Denie Hiestand, a natural health consultant, author, research expert, and former successful New Zealand dairy farmer. Denie has spent decades studying the skin and toxins/chemicals in everyday cosmetics and personal care products and identified a strong link between the high usage of chemical personal care products and the growing rates of cancers, infertility, hormone imbalances, allergies and various other modern day illnesses.
In response to his patient’s requests, Denie set about to create a completely pure and natural range of skincare products which not only contained none of the harmful additives found in the majority of commercial products, but contained life-giving, cell nourishing ingredients which feed and nourish the skin.
Testimonies abound reporting that this set of products is innovative and remarkable. This year, “Beauty experts and moms across the USA tested and reviewed hundreds of products and voted theCream Face as the Best Facial Moisturizer in the recent Kiwi Magazine 2015 Natural Beauty Awards. These awards honor the best of the best; products were scored on quality and performance.”
Ruby Lane Make-Up reported, “I absolutely love this moisturiser and would certainly say it is the best that I have ever used. I have been using the product for almost two months so it has received a very fair and realistic trial.”

One reviewer indicated she initially thought the smell “unusual”–not bad, she says–but unusual. That makes sense to me, as conventional perfumes are not used in the 100% natural product. Most of us are so used to perfumes and dyes in our personal care products that the lack of a powerful scent seems strange to us.
From my own experience, I didn’t find the eye creme as effective as the “chemical” variety that I use. It’s definitely better than using nothing at all, but it does’t give me as long lasting a lift as other un-natural options–sorry girls!
100% natural is pretty hard to beat. These products are even safe for pregnant and nursing mothers, they are so clean. The technology for extracting colostrum is sound, as are the ethical practices used in protecting the animals and their young.
theCream began in 2012. Since it’s inception theCream won awards every year following for its superseding products. The catchy company tag line is, “100% Natural, up to 85% Colostrum, 0% Bull”.
My absolute favourites are: Face, Facial Serum, Lips and Body Elixir. I have never felt anything on my lips like, well, Lips. It is smooth, not greasy and literally reduces lines on my lips. The Body Elixir is stupendous. It has orange oil in it, and the combination scent is divine. Even my children (and I have boys) ask for it when the weather is cold and they have chapped hands. It works great and smells even better.
Pink Cow products are quickly becoming an ALL-natural-facial-care revolution. They are reasonably priced when you consider top facial care products of the chemical variety. Furthermore, they last, and last and last. I bought a three-pack of theCream for face and I’m still not through it. That was about 18 months ago; I still have one bottle left. I find that remarkable.
